Recipe for a very bad evening:
  • One three minute long conversation;
  • One cracked, if perhaps not broken heart;  
  • As many questions as you can think of;
  • As few answers as occur to you when you're too exhausted to think any more;
  • A pinch of doubt
  • A dash of self-pity
  • Lots of tears
Mix all the ingredients and then tell yourself that you've survived before and will again.  

And believe it.
